Service Description

Many parents are self-taught when it comes to periods and puberty, except for the bare minimum covered in school curriculum or what their older sister or mom briefly explained when growing up. Many of those same parents as adults still have shame about their menstrual cycles, bodies, and pelvic floor "issues". Bothersome symptoms get written off as "normal" and they might never come to realize that help exists and that it's not something they have to live with. We want to do better for our children. Moms want their girls to live free of embarrassment and fear, full of body knowledge, and with not only self acceptance, but empowerment when it comes to their cycles, moods, and physical health. Whether your daughter is skipping sleepovers because of nocturnal enuresis (bed wetting), struggling with constipation, or missing school because of dysmenorrhea (period pain), you both deserve to have support in understanding root cause and how to resolve these underdiscussed and undertreated girl pelvic health challenges. Take this as an opportunity to enhance your understanding of girl-specific pelvic health norms, learn strategies to manage symptoms, and resources to bolster your and her confidence during this complex, rapidly changing phase of life.
